Not only is Jeff an incredibly talented artist, but he is generous of heart and a consummate professional. When I approached him to design a poster for a fundraiser I was throwing, he didn't hesitate to say 'yes'. He was open to my ideas and incorporated them in a perfect way. The posters were of exceptional quality, the design was fantastic, and working with Jeff was seamless. He honored our schedule, and he coordinated directly with the printer. The printed quality was amazing, and everyone who received a poster was extremely pleased.
We have very much enjoyed working with Jeff. He has done some great work for us and continues to do so. One of the things that I like the best about working with Jeff is that he is easy to work with. And he is always right on top of whatever the project may be and gets it to us in a timely fashion, which is very important.
When I first saw your work it really was noticeably different than anything else I had seen. I think artists like you often go unnoticed by musicians. In my mind, they don't realize that your artistry really helps prepare people for what they will do on stage with their music. It either raises or lowers the expectation. I want art that matches the music that I have worked so hard to make. ~ If I had to describe the vibe of your work, I would say that it has implied meaning and almost looks like theater and like a story line is going all through the music and the band's work. I love that! It sets the stage and helps prepare the way for the band. Most people see what a band is trying to say on a poster or print ad long before they ever hear the first note.

When my favorite Fayetteville venue, Chester's Place, booked 3 of the best new jambands within a week, An Honest Tune decided to sponsor the shows and call it the Chester's Place Jam Series. I commissioned Jeff Miller at Cryptical Development to create poster-art that reflected the colorful nature of Tea Leaf Green, Sun Cured Red, and New Monsoon. Jeff created the design faster than I could say "Jam Series." The poster helped to increase concert attendance at the Jam Series. The eye-catching visuals were great for pre-show promotion, and the collectable posters were a take-home memory and a thank-you to the fans who attended the shows. People were stealing these posters off the wall, left and right. All 3 bands were impressed and took home copies. I even had fans on the internet from other cities wanting to know if they could buy this poster by mail. Thanks, Cryptical D.!
I have worked with Jeff Miller and Cryptical Development for a couple of years and, quite frankly, he never ceases to amaze and dazzle me with his artwork. His creations are unique, innovative and provocative and would look just as good on canvas as paper. Jeff is one of those too few people who listens with both his heart and his mind.

In fact, one so nice as to now he is the first person I contact with any graphic work we need. I wanted to commerarate a special show by Jerry Joseph and The Jackmormons with a limited event poster and that is why I contacted Jeff. I was blown away with the design and Jeff's attention to detail. I did not get exactly what I expected. I got so much more than I ever had a right to expect and at a great price. I don't know how but I believe Jeff read my mind. I will not hesitate to use Cryptical in the future. I cannot say enough good stuff about the service and work I received. Jeff and Cryptical Development create really incredible, individual pieces of art. I believe Jeff's unique style will enable him to have a long career as a graphic artist. Jeff Miller and Cryptical Development delivered for us literally overnight! After looking at several designs, a friend sent us Jeff's e-mail, and told us he was the best. I sent him an e-mail with our web site address, and I arrived at my office the next day to find a completed poster in my inbox. We tweaked it a bit, mainly to add artists as they were booked, but his first design nailed it. We could not be more proud of the poster for our event. The work is excellent, the process easy, and Jeff is really a nice guy to work with. It doesn't get any better than that.
Jeff did the album artwork for my band "The Hum Bull." Not only was his work original, but his attitude was professional. For more than a decade, Miller's artwork has been on my album cover, gig posters, websites and all over Austin.
